Golden Overnight Oats
When life gets busy and I find myself waking up earlier and earlier with little time to prepare breakfast, I need to have things that are ready to go and easy to eat.
Thank goodness for overnight oats!
Overnight oats are wonderful because they can be mixed up so many different ways to keep my taste buds entertained, and they can be prepared the night before or a couple days ahead of time so all I have to do in the morning is open the refrigerator and grab my breakfast in a jar.
So how do you make it?
Simple.
Soak 1/2 cup of organic oats in 1 cup of milk (I use coconut milk or almond milk) and stir in 1/4 - 1/2 tsp Nature's Harvest Turmeric Latte Mix!
Optional, you can add a bit of sweetness with agave, maple syrup, or honey.
That's pretty much it, the toppings are up to you!
Some suggestions:
I loved to top mine with walnuts, sliced banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Another fun combo is a little bit of almond or peanut butter and some mixed berries.
Get creative! Use your favorite fruits as toppings, maybe some nuts and seeds, nut butters are lovely too!
